The singers benefit enormously from the careful and sensitive accompaniment from the pit, which makes every nuance audible without ever covering the singers. The orchestra “musicAeterna” under Teodor Currentzis is undoubtedly the star of the evening. Overall, it can be said without exaggeration: with so much dramatic elegance… “La Bohème” will certainly not be heard (like this) for a long time.
